Our Curriculum
A balanced, hands-on curriculum that fosters creativity, confidence, and curiosity in every learner.
Our Educational Approach
At Stepping Stone World Preschool, we believe that children learn best through meaningful play, guided exploration, and supportive relationships. Our curriculum draws from play-based and developmentally appropriate practices that nurture curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning. Every activity is designed to support the whole child—intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically. Through hands-on learning, storytelling, outdoor play, and interactive group experiences, we create an environment where each child feels safe, confident, and inspired to explore.

Developmental Goals by Age
Early Preschool (2 – 3 years)
Children in our Chrysalis and Rainbow classes build confidence with daily routines while developing language, social skills, and fine motor control through art, circle time, songs, and guided play.
Preschool (3 – 4.5 years)
In Sunshine and Caterpillar, students strengthen independence and early academics through structured circle time, worksheets, stories, movement, and regular outdoor play.
Pre-K Readiness (4 – 5 years)
Our Butterfly class focuses on kindergarten readiness with stronger early reading, writing practice, classroom responsibility, and collaborative learning habits.
Assessment & Family Communication
We believe in supporting every child's individual journey by closely observing their development and celebrating progress at every stage. Teachers maintain portfolios that include artwork, observations, and learning milestones. Families receive regular updates through newsletters, parent-teacher conferences, and informal check-ins. Our goal is to ensure open, ongoing communication so that families feel informed and involved in their child's growth. We focus on strengths, celebrate small victories, and tailor support to meet the needs of each child.
